Super · FY2026–27
Hospital fund, HESTA, or an SMSF
Why this matters. Employer super is added on top of ordinary earnings, and it shares a cap with any extra you sacrifice. The same contribution can sit in the hospital fund, in HESTA, or in an SMSF (self-managed super fund). The page compares those holdings. It does not pick one.
The same contributions, held three ways. An SMSF (self-managed super fund) is one of the three. This is not a recommendation to change funds.
