Award pay and overtime
The base is the published rate for the grade. Overtime sits on top of that, and it is not in the base.
Salary packaging
Public hospitals can package a living-expenses cap and a meal cap. The packaged amount can still lift a HELP repayment.
Locum tax set-aside
A day rate usually has no tax withheld. The tax page shows what to set aside from that extra income.

HELP repayments
The repayment uses repayment income, not just the cash wage. Packaging can move it.
Novated lease
A car through the hospital is a packaging sketch, not a cheaper car by default.
Income protection
The premium is a cost. A jump in the premium is a separate sketch from the cover amount.

The repayment is the P&I formula. Stamp duty is a separate state number.
